Customers & Selling

1. What’s the difference between a retail customer, Preferred Customer and Brand Partner?

Retail Customer: A retail customer purchases products at full retail price. They have no affiliation with the business opportunity and are purely consumers of the products. Retail customers typically do not earn rewards or loyalty benefits.

Preferred Customer: A Preferred Customer enjoys discounted pricing, typically lower than retail but higher than wholesale prices. They often gain access to Subscription benefits without engaging in the business opportunity.

Brand Partner: A Brand Partner is actively involved in the Partner.Co business. They purchase products at wholesale prices, enroll others and earn commissions and bonuses based on their sales and the sales of their downline. Brand Partners can also participate in compensation programs, including bonuses and matching commissions, and earn rewards like luxury travel and product credit.

2. Can I choose my own price for retail sales?

As a Brand Partner, you have some pricing flexibility when selling products directly to customers, but you must adhere to minimum advertised price (MAP) policies or any pricing guidelines set by Partner.Co. This policy ensures fairness in the market and prevents undercutting between sellers. You cannot advertise prices below the wholesale price or undercut the company’s standard pricing, especially on public platforms or in promotional materials.

With Smart Links, your customers will see the defined retail price, including cases where they receive a discount for maintaining a Subscription.

3. How do Smart Links and promo codes work for customers?

Smart Links are personalized links that Brand Partners can create to send to prospective customers, leading them directly to specific products or offers. These links track the customers’ purchases back to the Brand Partner, ensuring proper volume credit.

Promo codes offer discounts to customers, and these codes can be applied during the checkout process. Brand Partners can provide promo codes to retail or Preferred Customers as a purchase incentive. Promo codes can also work in conjunction with Smart Links, giving customers a smooth, personalized shopping experience while tracking sales back to the referring Brand Partner.

4. Can retail customers purchase products without enrolling?

Yes, retail customers can purchase products without needing to enroll as Preferred Customers or Brand Partners.

5. What happens if I don't sell to customers? How do I remain commission qualified?

To remain commission qualified, you need to generate a minimum amount of Personal Volume (PV), which can come from either personal purchases or customer purchases.

Without customer sales, you can remain commission eligible by making purchases for your personal consumption. However, reaching the minimum threshold can be easier through customer purchases and is required in some markets. Full details are available in the respective Policies & Procedures documents for your market.

6. Can I sign up others as retail customers more than once? Are they always tied to me?

Retail customers typically do not need to sign up repeatedly as they are one-time purchasers who are not formally enrolled in any programs. Best practices are to enroll customers on a Subscription to enable them to continually purchase under one account.

If retail customers decide to become Preferred Customers or Brand Partners, they must enroll through your Smart Link or specify you are their sponsor at the time of checkout to ensure they are tied to you.

Once someone signs up as a customer or Brand Partner using your Smart Link, they’re linked to your distributorship unless they change sponsors through a formal process, which is rare.

7. How can I start Subscriptions for my customers?

You can use Smart Links or guide your customers to the Subscription management section on the Partner.Co website. Preferred Customers can receive a discount by setting up a Subscription during checkout.

8. Do promo codes apply to Subscriptions?

Promo codes can often be applied to first-time Subscription orders, depending on the promotion. However, ongoing Subscriptions might not always qualify for promo code discounts, as they already benefit from discount pricing.

Check the specific promotion terms to confirm whether the promo codes apply.

9. Can I sell Partner.Co products on platforms like Amazon or eBay?

No, Partner.Co prohibits the sale of products on third-party platforms to maintain the brand’s integrity and fair pricing while preventing unauthorized sellers from undercutting official channels.

Brand Partners are encouraged to sell products through their official channels, such as Smart Links, direct selling or their Partner.Co-provided e-commerce platform. Violating this policy may lead to penalties, including the loss of commissions or even the termination of the distributorship.
