1. What is Gold Status, and how do I qualify for it?
Gold Status is a recognition level within the Partner.Co Compensation Plan that unlocks up to seven generations of Matching Bonus.
You can get Gold Status by reaching Ultimate Business Level or selling at least 200 PV to four new people in your first two cycles (first eight weeks, remember commission weeks go from Saturday to Friday).
2. What are the benefits of achieving Gold Status?
Achieving Gold Status unlocks three generations of the Matching Bonus, which pays you a matching percentage of your team’s Base Commissions up to seven generations. (meaning Brand Partners sponsored by you, as well as those they sponsor, as long as they also have Gold Status i.e.: only Brand Partners with Gold Status count towards generational levels).
You can earn generations four through seven by increasing your weekly Base Commissions and optimising your Income Position (for details, check the Matching Bonus slides of your local Compensation Plan PPT in the Business Content category of the Back Office Library).
3. What happens if I don’t achieve Gold Status within the required time?
If you do not achieve Gold Status by reaching Ultimate Business Level or selling at least 200 PV to four new people in your first eight weeks, you may miss out on the opportunity to earn the Matching Bonus, which pays you a matching percentage of your team’s Base Commissions. Once you reach Gold Status, it remains with you for life and will be active each commission period that you are commission eligible.
4. Does Gold Status affect my eligibility for Matching Bonus?
Yes, achieving Gold Status unlocks the Matching Bonus, allowing you to earn from more generations within your downline. Without it, your eligibility for the Matching Bonus may be limited or unavailable.
5. Can I lose my Gold Status?
You cannot lose Gold Status, but you are required to maintain commission eligibility to participate in all of the benefits associated with it. If you miss your commission qualification, you will not enjoy the benefits associated with it until you qualify again.
6. Are the four personally sponsored people required to purchase the minimum qualifying volume (100 PV) to maintain my status?
No, once you earn Gold Status, you cannot lose it, regardless of the activity of your sponsored people. However, you are required to maintain your own commission eligibility to participate in all of the benefits associated with it. If you miss your commission qualification, you will not enjoy the benefits associated with it until you qualify again.
7. Does Gold Status vary by market?
No, the specific requirements and benefits of Gold Status are the same across all markets.
8. How does Gold Status impact dynamic compression for Matching Bonuses?
Since only Brand Partners with Gold Status count towards generational levels to earn Matching Bonus from, all team members in the structure who do not hold Gold Status are compressed up through what we call “dynamic compression”.
For example: if you have access to three generations of Matching Bonus, but no team members from those generations hold the Gold Status, the dynamic compression will skip them to look for Gold Status holders from the downline and move them up so you can earn Matching Bonus from them. However, if Gold Status holders are already occupying a generational level but are inactive that week, the dynamic compression won’t apply.
